0:45 this doesn't make sense at all… We would light fires and keep them going all night. We would cook our food the same time we started the fire. Not wrong on the health stuff but think about it.

Probably case by case scenario but I am 40yo and can eat 5 min before bed and my watch will say 90+% sleep/rest lol so I don’t know this almost sounds like bullshit but then again maybe I’m a weird outlier.

Calories in vs calories out. If you train in the morning without eating before (fasted) then you can eat before bed. My son has done this for years & is ripped and muscular.
I lose weight when my last meal is 4 or more hours before sleeping. I gain weight when i eat right before bed. Im sure everyone is different though
I eat at 1am after work
I have to confess. It's 3:51am and I just ate two Costco organic fudge bars, two birthday cake Made Good mini granola bars, and one pack of Made Good chocolate banana granola bites. I have mad munchies rn… I'm a bad boy.
I eat at night and will continue to do so. I have no problem falling asleep.
Don’t get off work till 9:30 and that’s the only time I can go to gym, I get back from the gym at abt 10:30–10:45ish and eat at abt 11 then go to bed right after. All I can do

I've learned from experience to hold back eating a lot before bed no matter how much I feel I want to bulk. There's always a reason to do or not do something …. I used to justify over eating by telling myself the muscles grow from it, but the body cannot focus on building muscle and digesting PLUS all the other functions that sleep is needed for. I feel so much better when I allow a digestive break before bed. I think that eating before a workout is more debatable and could be a matter of personal opinion, but I feel like eating before bed is definitely counter intuitive to nature. It just doesn't make sense when you think about it. If you really want those extra calories, start eating earlier in the day because it's not worth derailing your sleep and probably does not benefit muscles as you would think. Your body stops making insulin at night so your absorption rate for nutrients is much worse at night too.

It’s about calories eaten every 24 hours. Want to lose weight? I find eating your first meal after noon will get your body in a fat burning mode right when you wake up and I actually have tons of energy working off my fat reserves until noon. I’m a roofing contractor and feel tired if I eat during the day. If I’m very lean and trying to gain muscle I eat four meals spaced evenly with balanced proteins and fats starting in the morning. If I wanna lose fat, I restrict my feed window and lose weight quick.
Can your stomach be empty without growling or making any noise when sticking it out? I always try to sleep on an empty stomach but I don't know if I should wait to literally hear noise when sticking my stomach out to determine if it's empty or not.
