My new take-home from Dr. Gundry is the importance of taking olive leaves extract. Thank you, Dr. Gundry for your very informative podcast.

Dr. Lisa Mosconi, oh are a darling! I will definitely look for your book. Thank God people like you exist in this lifetime.

Interesting…how many women who were given hysterectomies in the 1950's and 1960's are more likely to have dementia later. Alcohol consumption, smoking, high carb-low fat diets, hormonal disruption due to abortions, medication and birth control drugs, on and on. there seems to be too many variables. My grandmother died of Alzheimers, around 88 (smoked her whole life ) ( mom still dealing with dementia, probably vascular, mainly from 90-91 and is now 94. Thankfully still in her own apartment with daily help, especially due to CVid. We are experimenting with ketones mixed with a protein drink in the mornings to help her brain, since it is too late to move her consistently to a ketogenic way of eating, We make bone broth recipes for her freezer to aid in a lower sugar diet, but hard to control the caramels and sugar items she eats throughout the day. She is not obese. Mom never smoked or drank, but sugar addicted and carb addicted and had a hysterectomy. I believe my grandmother did as well. My older sister had a hysterectomy at about 25 due to extremely heavy periods. She is now 73. Her diet is very different than our mother's. It will be interesting to see what the next years bring. My identical twin and I (58) have been eating keto/carnivorefasting for a little over 4years and soooo thankful for that. Many, many improvements!!! We both had 3 children all before we were 25 and do not have hysterectomies. Struggled with our weight since preteens. Not obese but definitely insulin resistance. Sugar was ALWAYS the draw. Neither of us drink or smoke. We also have been using natural progesterone cream for years. Loved Dr. John Lee's research on this. It really helped my last few years of peri-menopause in helping to normalize heavy bleeding from about 47-52. When you are caring for someone with dementia it spurs you on tho find out what you can do to try to feed the brain properly if by God's grace we live a long as our mother. I also wonder if the chemical oils of the baby boom generation instead of natural fats have damaged brains as we now know that the brain needs fat and cholesterol to function properly and for decades now they were told to fear fat. Again….so many variables, I can see why research takes a long time!!! Thank you for all you do!!

Also, research shows we must challenge our brains & bodies.
Brain – Learn a language, Learn an instrument, Memorize songs, Singing, and socializing regularly challenges the brain.
Body – serious movement like diligent swimming, jogging, fast bicycle riding, speed-walking, etc. Btw – casually walking and crossword puzzles are like "limiting" eating pizza, donuts & cake w/icing 1x/week. Both help but not much. I've only started eating healthy when I was 45 and as an architect abused myself with many all-nighters. I've always looked young because of swimming, make-up sleep on weekends and an incredible "body bank account" of exercise and sports since I was 8 yrs. old. I was also a science teacher but all this is backed up by much research.

Johns Hopkins has been doing extensive research on …"Believe it or not"…. Broccoli Sprout Juice and have reported very good successes in the treatment and in some studies reversal of not only Alzheimers / Dementia but also Autisum in younger people I believe under the age of 18 years old.

I have drank coffee all my life to get my morning enjoyment and boost, in the last couple years I would enjoy organic whip cream and a little organic grass fed butter in my cup, love, enjoy and crave, but sadly, I am now detoxing my body from coffee because a chemical in the coffee started making me extremely sleepy. And now I am thinking clearer and using my natural energy.

Just to add.Dr. Gundry and Dr.Mosconi seem to have differences in teaching, and because her organization is being funded was being very careful how to respond to Dr Gundry’s questions,.

Having Alzheimer's disease knocked my mother off her life and had her living like a mad person, I didn't know how the better part of her life eluded her, my mind was completely splatted in two, She showed a severe decline in her mental and cognitive skills in the last few years and her quality of life had deteriorated greatly in the past 2 years where she was mostly bedridden. I am very glad my partner sought help and now she is free from all signs of psychosis. She was healed through the herbal medicines from Dr. Rohan (BRONGEE). I believe there is no act of kindness that is too small that is why I am sharing this testimony here. If you have anybody who is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, i will advise you to opt out from western medication and go for BRONGEE herbal medicine. you will have every reason to be happy again just as i am. You can visit his blog via https://herbalcureforalzheimeranddementia.blogspot.com/ to know more about this herbal supplement. He is well known for his groundbreaking treatments concerning the brain and mind issues

HRT killed my mother. Ovarian cancer. Dead at age 65. No other ovarian cancer in the family. No other family member took HRT. Estrogen HRT /Ovarian cancer link is REAL.

Look into the vitamin D3 and Vitamin Bs or lacks thereof and the plaques etc because I know without these vitamins you do get dementia at any age as well as loose your life but many if the elderly women I have taken cared of as a caregiver get vitamin B shots and the ones that do not are not well in their bodies or minds…?

She mentions this perhaps I will get her book as well
