It dosent make a difference when you already fat, you need to watch your calories
1.5 Grams per pound of body weight
Eating a carnivore diet is 100 percent ideal smh but u guys would run out of content if u pushed that narrative…super health is simple…but to mk money off of fitness u guys need to mk it complicated
I wish theyd do more cuts to them in a gym showing how to do certain exercises!
Protein doesn’t signal you’re full ‘because nutrients’
It doesn’t signals fullness at all
Fat does. Which usually comes with protein
I really needed this episode today. I’ve been really struggling with my protein intake and it’s been leading me to thinking training is pointless if I don’t hit protein. So it’s my sign to lock it in and really start tracking better.
Thank you guys!
Thank you for explaining the high protein diet because in my head it was just 1 pound per body weight but when you said it specific to your target bodyweight that changes everything so thank you for explaining that to us
I heard too much protein isn’t good for your kidneys. What does that threshold look like?
To Burn fat a person has to eat medium protein, high fat et low to 0 carb, Those guys spend 4 hours a day at the gym. No training and losing weight, only keto or carnivore diet can do that.
Noob here: how do you get 200g of protein and stay under 2k calories in a day without using multiple shakes and bars? Seriously. Are you guys strict carnivores? I can't fathom eating that much meat
Kefer by far over yogurt. Much higher in probiotics, vitamins and minerals and easier for those that are lactose intolerant
So dumb this down for me. How many grams of protein does it take to melt a gram of fat?
Not sure why people find eating protein so difficult, I eat 2 tins of tuna, some Greek yogurt and 500g of lean (5%) beef mince daily, maybe add some eggs now and again, and some bone broth, it's not that difficult, i'm getting around 200g per day I reckon – could probably eat more but it gets expensive I suppose.
I start my day with kion amino acids (like literally drink it when working out at 4:30 am) does this count as 30 grams of protein?
2 servings of plain Greek yogurt mixed with a scoop of strawberry protein powder and 5 grams of creatine is my go to. 60 grams of protein plus creatine and it tastes like strawberry cheesecake lol
Follow the Lee Priest diet.
I am weighing 71 kg and i'm aiming for 150 – 160 grams of protein per day.
ratio yogurt $2 …170 cals 25 grams protein
oatmeal + milk & scoop of whey
my breakfast usually comes out to around 600 cals 67 grams of protein. this is a
cheap high protein breakfast that i eat to start off ny day bc alot of those calories will be burned off from lifting/walking thruout the day.
Very educational and relatable
This is even harder if you've had weight loss surgery so have a smaller stomach but managed to put back on the weight lost from that by eating processed sugary foods. I am now down 19.5kg since 1st July and it's all of your tips that's helped me. My SW was 130.7kg so I have a way to go still. Thankfully I am a woman who builds muscle relatively easily because I'm 45 and have been not very kind to myself.
Which of your workout programs would be best for me?? I want to do one of your programs but which one?? I've been back in the gym since 1st July and go 3 days a week religiously.
A gram per pound is atupid benefits max out for most people at 0.7-0.8 g per pound
I am a female in my 50’s and I try to eat 100 grams of protein every day and lifting weights (heavy ) so my question is would this effect my cholesterol levels?
Is it strange that when I start out my day with a protein-packed meal that I get hungry more throughout the day?
1g of protein per lb of body weight. Is that for your goal weight or current weight?
I would disagree, plants give good protein and is way better. Ask God from the Bible. The problem is people don't eat enough with plants. You need to double shoot triple the intake. There are body builders who are on a whole plant base diet
I am about to turn 50. Changing my diet to high protein. It has really changed my body and mind.
Nice video guys. What about whey protein?
Cravings— I would crave bananas- even though they made my mouth and throat tingle. I HATE bananas.
As soon as I searched ‘what is high in potassium’ (because I’m assuming that I was craving bananas due to potassium deficiency). Once I found better potassium nutrient dense sources- I have never craved bananas ever again.
I think our brains are used to searching its own memories and sending out craving to met those needs.
Just like pregnant women craving pickles or weird mustard peanut butter sandwiches. The brain needs what it needs. And it will signal to our mind to cravings.
Wouldn’t be surprised if those larger folks with cravings are just misfiring their cravings for protein for yummy simple carbs foods.
If you had to eat one food an not avoid nutrient deficiency I think milk would be more suitable than only eating meat.
EAAs. I heard in another podcast that taking a serving of EAAs can count in a daily protein goal as 20g of protein. sound right to you?
