Thank you sir, interesting subject and very well explained. I am convinced that we only know 2-5% of anything. New students these days can look forward to unveiling the great great unknown.
Bec people tend to eat high on the food chain with lots of animal products, and live in toxic cities, human breast milk now comes with hundreds of toxic chemicals altho breast milk is still best for babies. If eating lots of wild greens like purslane, it is possible for vegans to get lots of ala omega 3 without using flax and chia. Sheep seem to get all their ala omega 3 from wild plants altho they probably eat tons of wild plants. Some vegans supplement with epa dha omega 3 from algae. If vegans can't get enough sunshine, there are now brands of mushrooms with vitamin d2. Easy to get vitamin k1 from green vegetables and vitamin k2 from fermented foods like natto. Pollution in wild seafood is increasing every day so warnings about wild seafood seem to get updated every year and wild seafood will be extinct soon bec. of overpopulation and global warming. I was raised by a stay at home mom and my guess is there are advantages to having a full time mom. I also spent a few years with my maternal grandparents before age 5. Since humans are higher on the food chain than cows, it is probably true that human milk is more toxic than cow's milk. Humans at the top of the food chain is the most polluted animal on earth.
Paleo or not this is a fantastic video. One of the huge problems these days in the US is the prudity the gentlemen described. People think of breasts and breastfeeding as a sexual act, it totally is not. You've heard it before but ladies go around half naked at the beach and that's okay but if you're feeding an infant in public it's somehow disgraceful. Not to mention usually you're showing less. Or if people think it's okay but only if covered up. It makes no sense to me.
I feel bad for women who want very much to breastfeed but can't deal get the milk to come out good enough, this is what happened to my sister-in-law. I also think most people give up because it hurts (if you don't believe me tell your partner to suckle your nipples for 30 minutes) but you need to push past it until you get "used to it".
I dunno if/when I finally have a baby I fully intend to Breastfeed. If I could quit smoking (over 3 years smoke free) I think this will be a breeze.
