There is a big difference between wanting to look and feel good and vanity, c'mon
When I started going to a personal trainer a couple years ago she asked me what I do for exercise. I told her I did 20 minutes a day on the stationary bike during the week and an hour a day on the weekends. She told me to stop doing that immediately because it was probably just going to kill my gains. She was right.
I despise cardio. Thank you Mind Pump for giving me the wherewithal to go to the gym to lift weight and NOT do cardio!!!! YAY!!!!!
You can spot increase muscle in a specified area but can’t spot reduce fat ? It seems incohérente lol.

Okay, I have a question about soreness. I workout and I’m sore for days and I fear if I workout while sore my muscles won’t repair correctly or if at all. By the time I am ready to work that muscle out again it has been more than a few days. I have been eating my protein and getting good sleep. I just can’t figure it out and I hope you could help.

Totally agree on doing what you enjoy as a workout. I tried the gym, different classes, bikram yoga, running, and then I tried CrossFit and honestly, never looked back. It's the only sport I have stuck with and it's the only thing that has shifted my outlook at fitness. If before I'd do sport for looks and overall health, with CF I workout for health and strength, looks just come as a bonus and are not on the top of my list, although it has delivered the best looks for me anyway. I guess, as long as you can stick to something you truly enjoy, you will see results you are looking for.
