Try switching regular bread to homemade home milled bread. It's much easier to digest, lower on the glycemic index, full of good fiber and full of nutrients. Totally different than the crap from the store. You need a machine to mill the wheat berries though. Worth it.
I love raisin bread toast!!! đŸ™‚
Now at 50 I started training 3 days a week and I haven’t seen these crazy results since my 20’s
You mentioned a number of times in the past that Maps was designed to be done on it's own.
Which one would you recommend i get for weightlifting if i also do boxing at least 3 times a week?
Goal is build strength and maintain muscle.
So hormone levels, are the specific tests to ask your Dr to check? I am about 60 years old, was told I had PCOS earlier, are there more natural ways to adjust hormones with food versus pills?
I've never tried egg whites in a shake. I should try it.
I'm gonna do my best to forget about Adam's sperm bank horror story while I'm frothing up my shake, though. Haha
Hi. Waiting.
mind pump yeah dude!!!
As a listener of you guys for over a year now, my husband owns at least two programs, I’ve tried to do Anabolic 3-5 times now but I have three chronic illnesses flared up bad preventing my progress. Well, in the last few months since the prescription meds I get from the doctor make me worse, I’ve been using what I call, MPing it and Trigger sessions my way to heal my chronic migraines and other shit going on. Anyways sometimes I do 4 trigger sessions a day, over 10,000 steps and maybe even a small workout, but most days I do barely anything but I AT LEAST do something even if it’s touching my toes as a trigger sessions. I have to say, I’m seeing the most progress recently then I have in years and that’s the main thing to change. Oh and from listening, I stopped being vegetarian and eat meat again. I’m sorry peta please leave me alone I’ve seen the videos already.
Anyways I am rambling to say I can attest to this method works! Especially the one about a small amount of work can make a difference as long as the key ingredient is consistently.
Mike Mentzer???
Sal to Adam: Is it Opaque or Clear? Adam: A little bit of both!!! Hahaha and then didn't miss a beat
So are you saying a post menopausal woman cannot put on muscle or get stronger ? By definition she is not in hormonal balance .
Although 40 years apart and of different genders, my son and I are on a health improvement journey together. We work out and eat meals together, but are in the process of creating individual meal and workout plans. He found your channel and shared it with me. You have provided us with so much valuable information in areas of nutrition, weightlifting, and mental health, all on one channel. This is the first time I have enjoyed learning about losing weight and improving my overall health. Thank you.
This is exactly what is happening to me. The scale has basically stayed the same but I for sure have grown in size and for sure have gotten stronger. I really wish I could add on about 5 to 10 lbs. though. I have increased my rate of training so I suppose it's time to up my calories a bit. Also per your suggestions, I have swallowed my ego and reduced my total training weight while increasing my reps. I will do this for 30 days I think and then go back to my normal weights. Maybe switch back and forth?
Thanks guys for the information!! I’m so glad I finally listened to my fiancé at the start of this year, when it came to tuning into your videos. I’ve learned so much from you all, it’s made my fitness journey not as stressful.
Leet show, bros. Getting ready to start Phase 2 of MAPS Anabolic! Stoked for them #gainzzz
Just wondering, can I still build my strength at 29 years old? If so will my hormones improve? Or is it too late?
TB12 << TB (tiny beard)
Regarding the question about mix grip deadlift, I just watched a video from Matt Winning and he said that he requires his lifters to get a 405 lbs double over hand pull before they are allowed to do mixed grip. I think this is something that would be awesome to teach new lifters.
The procedure is called IUI. My wife and I conceive our first baby by this.
Found you guys a few months ago and I’ve been binging your content. Motivated me to get back into lifting more consistently. I play your videos while I’m getting ready in the morning. Best way to start the day!
Being new to strength training, the information that you all provide is invaluable. It has helped me sift through all the fads and the "latest and greatest" and it keeps me focused on the tried and true methods of working out. The guest the you have and the entertainment that you provide is just icing on the cake. Keep up the awesomeness.
Such great info, as always. Would LOVE to win the MAPS give away to push all these fitness concepts to the next level!
When you have a really successful recomp phase and get to a situation where you are really thin but still get stronger shouldn't there be a point where the body doesn't want to give up more bodyfat and you get forced to eat like 4k of calories. i'm struggling to keep bodyfat while eating around 3k already. Scale hasn't changed at all in the past month while body did.
And have you have clients that just burned/worked way better on high carb or high fat diets? like getting weight on 1.5k calories on one diet while maintaining or even loosing weight on the other?
It makes sense that bone broth wouldn’t irritate anything for you because bone broth is what’s recommended for people to drink while trying to heal their gut
