Your like Nigerian mother l never had.Hopefully one day you will do meet and greet and l can meet you.As British Nigerian with Nigerian parents.Nigerian mothers never talk about fibroids, painful period ,ovary cyst .Just get told to get on with it.And then you end up anemia due to heavy period .Ladies take care of your health as even your own mother won't care when you in pain due to reproductive problems.
Adaeze you don't know what you have done with this video. For years, I have experienced extremely heavy menstrual flow, I usually feel there is no body on this earth that has the kind of heavy flow I have with out it been a medical issue. But your video just gave me comfort, that there are people with such heavy flow and it's not a medical issue.
I was so happy when you said the heavy flow pads don't work for you as well. And I was delighted to see that you use mopped as well, the exact type I use. Because I work in a corporate organization I have to always stack 3pads together on each other directly, even at that I would already begin to perceive the stain and smell by noon and I would still get stained before getting home in the evening. If I must be comfortable then I have to use clothes ( the way our mothers used to do it back then), this is what I do most nights when I want to sleep if not I would stain my bed( the clothes are usually like half yard of material, it's that big, but I have no choice), any day it's a weekend and I'm home, I just use clothes. If I don't do this then I would be using about 7 to 9 sanitary pads in a day. My greatest Joy is that I never have pains, even the slightest of pains I don't have at all. And it's good to realize today that I am not alone. Thank you so much adaeze. This video was not just educating but if comforted my subtly troubled heart and aswayed my fears as well.
Try and use the menstrual cup plus one pad it will save you all the stress.I tried it and it worked for me.I bleed alot like you but that way helped me.
I will definitely try these things out, thanks for this video.
I personally have irregular menstrual,no pains though but it's so irregular like six months interval most times and whenever it comes it can last for like a month going to two months,I can remember so well in the year 2020 when I had to go to hospital because I had bled for up to 6weeks and I started feeling pains in my heart, when we got to the hospital the Doctors had to check my blood level and it was like 6%,so I had to undergo blood transfusion immediately.Ot was then the Doctors said that it was Hormonal disorder and he gave me a drug to take whenever it comes and have for like a week or two to enable the bad blood go out totally.
Exercising and eating healthy have helped my periods. Reduced sugar. Honey, lemon and ginger tea have also been help. Also get a hot water bottle. My go to painkiller is advil.
I just love this kind of videos! Really educational
Personally I don’t have much issues with my periods. I experience just mild period pains which can easily be treated with the regular pain meds. I’m super greatfull for that.
To avoid staining myself or the constant trips to the restroom for a quick change, I use both a tampon n a pad. I find it really convenient.
You are so funny. I couldn't stop laughing when you said " …and then you will become the woman with the issue of blood…." I just love you and your family.
My menstrual stayed on month at a time and u had to change my pad 5 times a day haven't wore white in years
Thanks for sharing.
learnt something new about sticking the wings together.
Thank you so much for this…….I learnt from the pad placing part because I also wear 2pads.
When I saw this topic, watching was inevitable. Eating apple or fruits generally can also help.
Too much knowledge but I write you don't reply me.
Aunty ada….this video tips was truly lifesaving for me. Really in pain during ovulation…also in pain during menstruation. Thanks so much
Thank you so much for this adaeze really felt like a big sister talking to me , as someone who goes through the heavy flow, pain and dizziness, as someone in the corporate world it can be hard to keep up with the 1 hour changing thanks for the tips ❤❤❤❤Cant wait to try them out
I was having a heavy menstrual pain before my kids but after my first daughter the pain stops till now. Thanks for this video
Just put two pad together that is all you won't get stain at all
It's really not funny. I am an Endometriosis patient.
The pain I feel ehhh… Not even abdominal pain .leg cramps I don't know if anybody experiences that
I am so fortunate with menstrual experience cause it's a painless one for me. I remember how I will worry and get all worked up when my sister rolls in pain over hers which was offcourse a painful one. And yes I will read and tell her to stay away from sugar, soda and cold water during those periods.
I've just switched to a menstrual cup and I'm loving it, the pains have reduced, and saving costs of pads/tampons. I still get leaks since I've not yet mastered the insertion..
Is there anyone here with adenomyosis? It's the main cause of heavy flow and painful menses and most women with it think they have fibriods. Some doctors and scanographers cant tell between adenomyosis and fibriod. May God heal us.
Chai I'm really blessed not to be in that category
That cough, laugh or sneeze ehn! Reason why i love tampons.
