Awwww that little puppy loves your Bernese Mountain Dog. What a shame to have to give up that little baby pup. But anyhow – I was surprised you had to puree that dog food. I hadn't seen that done by anyone else that makes their own dog food. Interesting.
Thanks for the informative videos! I just got a new pup, and considering feeding her vegan/plant based, I just looked up V-dog dried food on amazon, it has many reviews about their Dogs died from it with heart/organ failures, weird coughs, seizures… etc…. I just found out my vegan friend's dog also died all of sudden and he was feeding V-dog. But I will follow everything else! Thank you for the video!

I think the homemade food was good for the dogs, adding kibble might be an overkill especially because there is alot of good veggies, lentils, and supplements already

Dogs get plenty of vitamin B12 since it is made by bacteria that lives in a soil. Same thing for humans, eat a carrot straight from the ground or an apple without cleaning it and you get your B12. These bacteria can not live in an acidic environment, they live in a gut, so those who eat meat should use supplements, not the vegans.

Hey everyone, don’t forget to wash your rice and yams first. Your lentils are supposed to be pre-soaked for 2-4 hours and rinsed before cooking with a potato(to aid with digestion), eliminate potato after cooking. And, very important*** raw carrots can cause UTIs(urinary tract infections) in dogs. Also, keep in mind this video is a long commercial for Compassion Circle, as all these products are sold there. No one actually needs to purchase V-Dog food, or the supplements Vegedog and Green Mush or Crannimals(too much cranberry is harmful to dogs) to make nutritionally complete meals for their dog.
I'm not a fan of kibble and processed dog food. I discovered a book by Dr. Ian Billinghurst and have never looked back. My dog's overall health is better than dogs on straight kibble.
If you are really interested look up Dr. Becker on YouTube she's a vegetarian and veterinarian, she breaks down the biology on feeding your pet a vegan/vegetarian diet.
My dog is allergic to all animal protein i’ve given her so i’m thinking of switching her diet to a vegan one but can i feed my senior dog this food?
The cran animals cause acid urine. Ok sometimes . But you can’t over do it / to much acid can even cause bacteria to rise
Dogs digest 5 times faster then us.. they are not hind gutt fermenters .
We’re vegan too. I agree with a lot of this because the meat industry is discusting. But canines are omnivores and I use organic rabbit / duck free range antibiotic free chicken . Turkey. Otherwise you risk a serious change of lack of absorbable minerals 🙁
