Good information. Check our videos out on heart related information too.
I had a heart attack 18 months into the carnivore diet then went on a plant based diet and it’s been 3 years now, I’ve never felt so well!
There is only one diet clinically proven to reverse Coronary artery disease. An oil free vegan, whole food plant based diet low fat. As proven by ct angiogram, blood flow pet scans. Just say it doctor.
over 2 mins in and still not mentioned what foods…..
Whole food plant based. Full stop. Remove meat, dairy and oil. To not say this is pure quackery. See Ornish, Esselstyn, McDougal.
Are you saying that during this test, a Mediterranean diet actually replaced the normal post stent medication? The reason I ask is because following my heart attack/stenting in April 2019, I have had stomach problems as a side effect of the statins, blood thinners, beta-blockers and PPIs prescribed. These symptoms have been getting steadily worse.
Stay off meat and Dairy. No refined food. Like sugar refine. If nature didn't make it don't eat it. Eat right out of the garden.
Mediterranean diet is the best! I love it.
Thank you for all the required information.
Thank you Doctor. I just had a CABGx5. I was down to about 5% on one artery. I was keeping a healthy med diet for years, but then tried the KETO style diet. Big mistake, since I had no med insurance. But luckily was old enough to get Medicare and Medical – so I had the procedure done….. elective surgery basically. I also had three atherectomies done on each of three arteries just beyond the grafts. I also had a Left atrial appendage closure (also known as LAAC or LAA closure) performed on me. So I am now a biological-cyborg, with oxygen flow to my brain increased from about 1-10% in my LAD (the other artery was completely blocked) to about 90 percent flow – I estimate that the veins that were harvested have a lesser diameter than the original arteries. Hence, 90% flow, and not 100% flow.
So if you change your diet you don't need a statin. Which means you won't get all the side effects from a statin, and gain all the benefits from the diet… It's a no brainer.
Best diet ;
That's what Dr BRC weeps for ..
Fruits. Green Vegs .. garlic. ..lots of ginger/juice .. Olive oil… Curcumin .
Love from Pak
I am watching cardiologist lectures about diet …..but they seems to confusing…most of the cardiologists say u can hv egg white , chicken or fish once or twice a week…few says no.chicken , fish or egg at all..some says its ok to hv olive oil, mustard oil , rice bran oil or sun flower oil…it's confusing….
Doctor Gupta….goes saturated fat cause heart attacks?

Your whatsapp
Of course it is of great help. Great work is being done by you. GOD bless you
Although I appreciate your videos usually very much, I believe you're too much moving out on thin ice when you speak about diet in relation to (heart) disease. There is a ton of solid scientific evidence which correlates specific nutritional components to a variety of chronic illnesses and any talk about nutrition and (heart) disease should be based on this, instead of one or two papers.
Several names to remember are a.o.:
Drs. Caldwell B. Esselstyn (a.o. Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease", 2008), T. Colin Campbell (o.a. "The China Study", 2016), Dean Ornish, Neal Barnard, John A. McDougall, Joel Fuhrman, Pam Popper, Michael Greger (a.o. "How Not to Die, 2016) …
It is also advised (in general) that cardiologists routinely read the Journal of Clinical Nutrition.
Nice video! Just got here guess why lol trying that diet for the last few weeks
Great video, but the variables of health and preconditions are too varied to place any real positive outcome on a diet. Who's to say these people wouldn't have died regardless of diet and who's to say the diet prevented people from dying. I think this is far to vague to place any trust in at all.
Keto bro!
May Allah bless you my brother . Thank you for passing on your knowledge
Waste of time more than half of this video is ego stroking. WTF is a Medditeranean diet get to the point new heart patient doesn't need stats just what friggin food is safe/.
