I have been diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea for at least 20 years now, when I eat late, it gets worse when I don’t it’s better. Sleep apnea seems to feed off high spikes in blood sugars. We are constantly learning and yet never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Thanks much sir.

    Hi another great informative video
Our son has type 1 and definitely find the later nights he either spikes at 330am or will spike early evening and always find that hard to get down like it will stay at 14 so have to repeatedly give him more insulin..
Is this due to a late night do you think has anyone else noticed this with type 1
Can definitely see the link with Insulin resistance.

Has anyone experienced sleep paralysis when starting tresiba? I'm with my hubby 32 years he's never had sleep issues except for sleep apnea.. he treats and sleeps well with cpap… so far 2x in 2 weeks has had 2 severe cases of sleep paralysis… the first time I wasn't home and he fell off the bed. He's home 24/7 because he's recovering from recent shoulder surgery. He's almost back to normal and now THIS! He's only had a handful of nightmares in the 32 years we are together and never sleep paralysis Please advise if you can Many thanks

Seriously every video of yours that I watch helps me immensely. I was recently diagnosed, but apparently have had it for many many years. I already can't really walk from neuropathies. In just the last week I'm feeling better from following the advice on your channel. Every video of yours that I watch directly applies to me.

I wake up at least 5 times a night due to severe advanced osteoarthritis. Getting a right hip replacement next week. I also have type 2 diabetes. That is probably why my morning blood sugar is always over 100.

So lack of sleep is not good? Did anyone here not know that? If your not getting enough sleep you just need to try harder. Yea, every insomniac knows that, right? So we're just lazy and not trying to get enough sleep, yea that's it! Helpful.

This is true.. we have a yearly medical exam.. (i'm not diabetic) but before we had the exam i had problem sleeping for 2 weeks, and i only get almost 3 to 4 hours of sleeping.. then the result came, and the doctor told me i am prediabetic, even though we didn't have a history of diabetes in our family..
