I am way more interested in how LDL oxidizes in the body.

Who eats baby horse meat???
Sterols from the plants also can be oxidized
Another plug to go plant based. I went plant based and accelerated me going into menopause. This is a one size fits all method that didn’t fit for me.
I love this channel!
Rubbish
Uhh, no! Veggie for life is not necessary a safer option. Plant Sterols are cholesterol. They reduce our cholesterol but there is data that suggests they do the same thing that animal cholesterol does in causing disease.
Oxidation existed in the levels this video suggests simply by cooking meat every human would suffer this fate. If it’s true then oxidation itself is not the full story nor the real reason for the diseases. Especially when you look at those who eat high fat diets and still cook their meals. Studies around the world have been done on this. Mediterranean diet, Eskimos diet. Etc.
Was thinking about purchasing a small air fryer for my salmon burgers and chicken tenders. Guess that's out. Any thoughts would be helpful. Going to go back to eating an apple a day. Also wonder if tart cherry juice would help fight OC after eating chicken.
I do vegan about 2 to 3 times a week.
Any way you mess with the natural order of things, you will always end up with complications. Meat was always eaten right after the animal was killed. So naturally when we use to hunt, we would get all the rich nutrients including Cholesterol which is the most important nutrient for living organisms without getting any oxidized cholesterol.
Foal meat? We do not need ANY meat.
GENIOOO
If it stems from the polyunsaturated fats being heated, what about oils? Oils that we perceive as healthy, are they also being oxidized leading to those chronic diseases?
Who would microwave meat? Yuk!
Or just eat raw.
haha wrapping meat in plastic to make it safer. This cracks me up. #pleasedontdothat
The problem isn't oxidation of cholesterol in the food it's the cholesterol your liver is making becoming oxidised inside you, even most uneducated people today know the liver will produce 100% of the cholesterol if you eat a zero cholesterol diet and that dietary cholesterol has little to no effect on cardiovascular health, going on a animal product free diet won't stop oxidation of cholesterol in your body or stop sdldl from forming it might even make it worse if you trade animal products for grains or refined carbs.
I have a question from all cholesterol is BAD advocates, doesn't our body relay on steroid hormones and doesnt these hormones made from cholesterol? So we need to increase cholesterol and LDL to give that to cells but the problems is the source is from disease , bad feed animals that made their cholesterol really vulnerable to oxidation.
Thanks for saving the world, doc!
What about hard boiled eggs, especially if you limit the number of yolks and eat the white? No cholesterol in the white… and possibly the yolk would be safer than other cooking methods because it doesn't really cook long…
Would slow coking chicken at low heat be better than fast coking at high heat?
Not everyone wants to go vegan. If your goal was to urge veganism, you should have put that in the description.
Eat vajayjay
At 0:37, your narration said, "150 Fahrenheit", but the document said "150 C", that's ~300 F. Might want to correct that voiceover if you can. That's a big difference.
You talk like a Skeksis
how much of this get absorbed by the body trough digestion?
I can’t believe I’m just seeing this but the doc broke my heart with this one. Thank you for the information though.
I’m 21 and I’ve been eating meat all my life and never knew any of this, Vegetarian here I come, I haven’t had a heart attack but I have chest pains sometimes I’ve come to the conclusion that my arteries are getting heavily clogged, I wanna live long so those little pains are enough for me to change
