Informative and excellent lecture except for the Abraham and Isaac reference. Showed a lack of understanding of the point of the story and Christianity (The only religion that HASN'T practiced human sacrifice) and an insertion of personal biased opinion. So to say Abraham didn't put up a fuss about the sacrifice because it was trendy at the time is mildly ridiculous and a reach.
One of the most interesting presentations that I have heard! So many things that I didn't know about breastfeeding. Thank you!!
Very informative but incorrect in details. For example, Abraham trusted that God would provide a way NOT to take his long-promised son, but would provide a substitute. Isaac trusted his father and his Father. It was a sign, a pre-enactment of the Messianic promise.
Don’t fall prey to well-intentioned, but poorly informed, explanations of scripture.
I was one of those with "breastfeeding inadequacy" – only got 3 weeks in. Very upsetting.
Why do we have cannabinol receptors?
Sometimes he describes Stone Age life like he was there to see it. In other words, he’s talking out of his ass.
Here's some delayed laughter for the very amusing jokes that the good doctor threw, which was unjustly withheld from him by the audience:
hahahahaha haha… hahaha. Lmao, rofl, haha. Aha. Haha.
At 32:42 did he ever answer the man question???? If he did I missed it.
We have really lost our way. Never mind the importance of breastfeeding or staying with the baby, it is almost impossible to convince most western feminist women that men cannot become women or that sex chromosomes determine physiology or behaviour. We have become perverse mockeries of our innate nature.
30:10 Girls begin to what???!!! at 18 years of age? He didn't say menstruate!
Great presentation! Picky eaters also seem to taste if (real!) Food is nutritious or not. I believe that's why most kids dont like some vegetables.
4:09 we have to stop presenting relative risk increases. "Double the risk" sounds very important.
What is the absolute risk though? It's from 0.213 % to double that. Okay, is that really relevant? Aren't there more pressing issues with obesity? (e.g. insulin)
Is there any other channels like this?
I question his information on marijuana use during pregnancies. What kind of marijuana? What was used to grow it? How was it consumed? What other environmental factors were not controlled for?
Baby on mothers back got gravity exercise as well!
Amazing. Looking back to go forward?
I observed a baby-crying experiment in microcosm: One of my pet mice, Marzipan, had eight babies. That's a large litter to produce milk for. AND she had little interest in motherhood. The babies were always squeaking, as if miserable. Marzipan would leave them in the care of her tankmate for up to six hours at a time. The "nanny" mouse was very attentive and loving, but had no milk. All I heard was squeak, squeak, squeak.
A generation later, one of the octuplets had four babies. Aine had no nanny to watch the babies for her, so she spent nearly ALL of her time in the nest. They were so quiet that I often got nervous and wondered if they had died! I soon realised that they were content.
Another danger of our times: Prenatal ULTRASOUND! Below (as a reply) I will link a brief article from 2000 summarising the appalling results of several studies back then. The book "50 Human Studies" claims that scientists in China in the 1980s proved harm begins at one minute of exposure!! Yet I had an MD ob/gyn here in Los Angeles in 2019 lie to me that a pregnancy can be blasted for six continuous hours before tissue temperature is raised a small amount.
Outside of obstetrics, ultrasound is used to break up scar tissue and deep clean/sterilise machinery.
Ultrasound is one possible cause of 'missed miscarriage.' A woman goes for a scan at 8 weeks and sees a strong heartbeat. Returns at 12 weeks and is told, "Sorry, your baby's heart stopped beating about 4 weeks ago."
On the "drugs" point he repeats. Most stone age cultures do have a psychedelic culture. Usually drunk, instead of smoked. Burning creates carcinogenic products, staying around a fire has the same effect as smoking pot.
But the psychedelics were deeply important to health.
WOW!! Love this information.
Loved It!
A lot of this is bs theory but even I knew that the mother passes on her immune system to her baby thru breast milk
He deserved a standing ovation. He deserved a bunch of grunts and hollers, like cavemen clapping, instead he got soy boy flap clap,
He had the most underwhelming clapping going in for him at the end..
He was robbed.
Consider just how soft we have become and how strong the Stone Age gene pool must have been. Times sure have changed. We’re never going back. It’s all about the mind these days. Paying attention in school is more important than ever, children!
What a fantastic and informative video.
Go against nature at your peril basically.
At 52 I have never felt better eating more meat and more fat, and we need our future mothers to adopt this again for healthy and strong boys and girls.
what wonderful information, mind blowing
