Thank you!
A reason I prefer to grow my own.
Dr. Greger, thank you so much for this video. I have a 1 year old baby and this information is life saving. Can you please answer a question on nutritional yeast: is it safe for babies/toddlers? I know you mention lead levels are a risk and that Braggs brand is the safest because they test it. My baby loves it on pasta and veggies, how much nutritional yeast is too much for babies? She probably has 1 to 2 tablespoons per day. Thank you for your help!

That's it. I'm not eating babies anymore.
They're obviously full of poisons.
When I was in my mid 50's, I had "pre-cancerous" bladder polyps. The shot across my bow to give up the musician's lifestyle and institute some dietary/lifestyle changes… probably why I am now a vigorous 67.
I am still a night owl but the bad food and partying part of it went bye bye. I went vegan… and ate a lot of brown rice and did have a few recurring polyps that were found and removed.
I've been enjoying your arsenic/rice series.
I keep wondering if there is a way to detect gyphosate in foods for the common citizen. Please look into it in your usual thorough and entertaining way.
Keep up the great work Dr. Thank you.
You guys find it funny how they claim the only thing newborns are allowed to have besides breastmilk is formula powdered milk from fucking cows? full of hormones, antibiotics, steroids and all sorts of chemicals yet fruits/vegetbales (out biological food) even pureed should not be given to newborns? If anything the pureed fruits are going to be much healthier and safer on the babies body then cow milk powder, no wonder why babies are always in pain and sick these days..
♡ Dr. Greger is the best!
So what does a person do if they have to eat gluten free bread?
Feeding children any conventional grain especially Cheerios should be tantamount to child abuse. All conventional grains and beans are Glyphosate dessicated, ensuring maximum carcinogenic compound consumption.
I would love to see a nutritionfacts series on glyphosate dessication. Unfortunately that would get the channel pulled or put back up on propornot.org.
If it means anything to anybody, Lunberg rice published its arsenic testing results for its brown rice online & they are considerably less than 200/150bbp, around 93 bbp. For those looking for U.S brands to choose, the rice is grown in California.
Is the aresen level as high in europe as it is in the u.s.?
OK but so this arsenic scare for rice applies mainly to U.S grown grains am I right?
Anyone know if Bhutanese red rice has less arsenic?
You think they would tell people they're feeding their kids poison…
funny that Happybaby promotes brain health on the package, while you get brain damage from the As.

how would the babies survive? probably no arsenic
We can have limits in place, but what good will they do if not enforced. The Chinese have the higher standard; however, they were also the ones responsible for adding the "protein" melamine to infant and pet foods. A standard without enforcement is just a PR stunt to make people feel like their government is looking out for their populaces best interests.
What about rice milk?
finally some sort of study showing that rice consumption actually has an impact on cancer…. still not particularly conclusive and rice consumption is still correlated to less cancer in other studies so still WTF
Plenty of other cleaner grains like whole wheat ! Yet I wonder why Japan has lower cancer and longer healthier lives yet typically eat 2 or 3 servings of rice a day
Dr Greger, what about arsenic levels in Quinoa? Is it safe to consume? Could you do a video about the safest type of grains to eat nowadays and not to be worried about your health?
Buy our rice grown in Australia đŸ™‚ Problem solved.
Put it to the test! These videos just keep getting better. đŸ˜€
What are food producers to do when poisoning babies with arsenic becomes illegal? -I think if they can't sell that crap locally, they''ll just export it….
Isn't the soil tested before certifying a product as organic? I thought organic foods had to be grown on relatively clean soils. Time to change organic certification standards.
USDA is putting rice industry profits over public heath?….what a shocker…yawn….that's pretty much the essence of American politics
Hi! Can you make a video about the health benefits of apricot seeds?
wonders what other plants are being grown in this arsenic laced soil?
