At 31:45, you say muscle breaks down toxins…can you provide any more information on this? A link? What does it break down? Thanks.
I don't fully understand why low albumin, pre-albumin, transferrin, RBP might not accurately reflect malnutrition. If the liver is not making the proteins due to impairment, Â is this is a separate issue from nutrition status? So lab values are indirect marker of nutrition status? Â A patient could be well nourished and still have low blood albumin?
