FACTS! It’s the lotion/sunscreen/diet/bad genetics that causes skin cancer.
The thing with cancer is that it needs damaged cells to get a mutation out of control. Do NOT tan after a sunburn. Not in a tanning bed or outside. ever. If the skin dries up, severely or other red flags occur this could very much so mean that you lack omega fatty acids or other vitamins and minerals, which some skin types/ genes need more than others btw. Do not use tanning beds every day. The radiation exposure is more compressed than being outside which nullifies any adaption of the skin mentioned here in the vid. It really bugs me that respected doctors frighten people from the use of beds with cancer. It is simply not true if done correctly.
As someone who has tanned pretty my whole adult life, I’m looking for videos like this to make me feel better. What about the rays damaging your dna and premature aging? That’s what I’m worried about mostly.
EMF radiation from tanning beds cause cancer
Hunter gatherers didn’t live long enough to get skin cancer.
the misinformation in the comments and the video… just shockingly scary. stay out of tanning beds.
thank you! Frank! this information is so helpful.
I tan in the tanning bed at my gym in winter 4 days a week 10 minutes a session and i feel so amazing afterwards lifts my moods done this for 10 straight my diet is ful of good fats and i use castor oil and coconut oil also
yeah i'm starting to do 9 minutes every time I workout which is 3 times a week max!
Only a minute in and I am an esthetician but also totally always thought tanning beds for 5 min every other day could help the skin heal. Also thought it was silly to get vit d thru spf so far I agree w this guy.
I don’t tan from the sun naturally, i get freckles. If i tan in a tanning bed, will I get tanned or get freckles?
What a stupid thing to add to your caption, only reason I am replying, the UV rays emitted from tanning beds can and do cause skin cancer.
I love how the “experts” say that it’s so important to go walking outside and get fresh air in the sun, yet somehow, tanning beds are dangerous.
All things in moderation.
Should you wear eye protection in tanning beds?
Most sources state that: " The bulbs used in tanning beds emit mostly UVA light; however, your body needs UVB light to make vitamin D."
Hes right but the point in time where we were hunter gathering our life expectancy was much lower so these problems from the sun wouldn't have really even started to effect those people yet. Agreed we should be outside in the sun more though.
I am so glad you mentioned K2, MK7 form is a must with D3. God bless you!
Oh yeah base tan is a myth too …nowadays lol. That’s why you start slow in the tanning bed and move up in minutes. But base tan is a myth…right? People don’t have any damn sense.
I love the tanning bed. I’m not a retard…I know that it’s not the best option. BUT if I hate laying in the sun….tanning bed is better than nothing. I am convinced the psychiatric market is more profitable than the skin cancer market. Therefore…they want you getting no vitamin d so that you can be depressed and go on psychiatric meds. I’m shocked…they haven’t banned tanning beds. My sister got melanoma after never tanning…cause she can’t…and wearing as many clothes in the summer as she can stand. Like she covers up for real. So explain that. My husbands family fries their skin every year….and some are in the 60s. Cancer free and what takes them down always…are their damn cigarettes…yes cigarettes are bad….seen it all my life. Emphysema and copd…but no skin cancer.
Tanning beds have way too many side effects to justify using
