My mom cooked back in the old days we ate a lot of rice . No problem with sugar
Sorry but I didn’t know there was any other way to cook rice.
❤❤
It's a fake video guy with diabetes did this n check his glucometer
Before n after ( this method rice n normal)
Only 4% decrease in spike
That's stupidity
Rather eat rice n walk for 10 minutes
Moral of the story : keep moving
I wouldn’t drink the water. Rice contains numerous contaminants including arsenic. Boiling rice is a very effective way to remove the maximum amount of contaminants from the rice, but it ends up in the water….
Nonsense! Rice is complex carbohydrate and no matter how you treat it you cannot remove the glucose end-product. The only reduction is eating less of it. Have some common sense please.
So what it boils down to is you rinse the rice very well. I think most cooks do that already know this cooking tip.
It's confusing, removing starch water from cooked rice and drinking the same for good health, please clarify.
Cook in pc to get the benefits of rice water and reduce consumption by 15 percent by reducing quantity of rice itself.
Yes, what's the point of drinking the water if it is bad? And if the water is so full of nutrients, why throw it out of the rice?
I am not sure why this is an ingenious method. This is how rice is always cooked if one does not use a rice cooker. Drinking kanji is the worst thing one can do because all it is cabs dissolved in water. If one is to drink kanji then why bother doing the cooking the way you have done? Just use a rice cooker and be done with it.
Most of the nutrition and flavor is lost in this process. Rice becomes bland in taste. I prefer the absorption method.
There is no diabetic rice. Donot lie its not good for your Soul
This does not make sense. The left over starchy water has all the vitamins. So how it is beneficial to throw away nutritious water!
Just don't eat it…Your asshole eee
After cooking rice FREEZE it in a refrigerator after it's a bit cooler….so cool it a bit and then put it in the freezer for 24 hours. Then you can hear the rice again. It is now a resistant starch. When taken as organic rice with organic MCT or coconut oil it can be healthy in moderation.
This is how we were taught to make rice.
This was done before the cooker Era !!
IIN OUR COUNTRY OF TRINIDAD WEST INDIES THATS HOW WE WASH AND COOK AND STRAIN OUR RICE OR DRAIN OUR RICE ❤
If we drink rice kanji blood sugar level goes up
This is the usual pot method. Nothing new in it.
I cook like this since last 30 years
If we do like this you won't have vaata in our body
When you remove water from cooked rice B12 is also removed..
We dont put salt in rice
We all do it this way only. (And if the strained rice water is so beneficial, why not let it stay in the rice?). We should strain it for removing starch, and then drink it for other benefits, what queer logic!
It doesn't make any sense to cook the starch out of the rice and then drink the water.
Do not cook in aluminum it’s toxic
