organic eggs are anti cancer, so how can they increase cancer in humans. This makes no sense. Is it cherry-picking research to achieve a conclusion? Why do other channels of very trusted medical advice say there is no increase in the risk of cancer from eating eggs?

It's proved that a less amount of choline is promoting Altheizmer disease TOO !

Bs choline is good for you. I’ve personally researched it it government research documents.
I have found have low choline can be responsible for, Anxiety, adhd, Alzheimer’s, digestive issues, brain fog, the list goes on. Research it yourself.

Excessive choline intake seems to cause issues, but also choline seems to be required in human diet.
So what happens if an adult vegan human being has a daily intake of 550mg of choline? What would happen to TMAO and potential diseases.
Usually nobody eats too much choline. A study says that only 11% of the U.S. population eats enough choline.
So this seems like the problem is not excessive choline, but that the people that have high choline in their body is usually because they eat lots of animal products, causing all kinds of health issues, but choline is not the cause of it but cholesterol, inflammation caused by animal protein, animal fat, etc.
So if a vegan takes choline supplements, and does not have the same issues, that means that choline itself was not the problem.
Choline seems to be very safe and it requires something like 3500mg per day to start causing issues, and that amount is impossible to reach with any diet, unless refined choline supplements are eaten.

It's all bs. Eggs themselves are anticancerous. It's just people tend to eat eggs with bacon and other high fat foods, that's where the increased rates in cancer come from, not eggs themselves. Eggs kill cancer cells.

I think it's the bad fiber in our diet which allows the choline to get down to the large intestine where it is not supposed to be because fiber is an anti-nutrient, it blocks the uptake of good nutrients in the small intestine which is where the choline would normally be absorbed.

    What do you think?

Egg won't cause a cancer but the other foods you eat and drink in your daily meals like carbohydrates (rice, potato, breads etc.) and sugary products like soft drinks, ice-cream, candies, fruit juices.

You got this one wrong. Dr Gregor, I have benefited from your research over the years and have purchased some of your books. Choline is an essential beneficial nutrient and the bulk of studies on the relationship of Choline to cancer indicate that it does not encourge cancer, quite the reverse the evidence leans well towards a protective effect. It also is a great protector to brains and general well being and some persons, especailly the elderly don't produce enough so fall prey to neuro- degenerative diseases. Here is the link to multiple studies on Choline that contradict 180 deg from the poorly conducted one you have gotton hold of. So please research further and even talk to your plant based colleges about this issue https://youtube.com/watch?v=fSR4o2Neln8

This video is a waste of time. It’s a lie! Eggs don’t cause cancer. That is hilarious. Of all things to lie about you lie about this. You can’t fix s****d. Then you put a bunch of people on blast that are s****d. Man I laughed a lot. Is this a comic video because it doesn’t look that way.

  • @josephinemiller68 says:
    November 21, 2024 at 2:51 pm

Everything about eggs is that the chickens are pumped full of not only antibiotics but also hormones so they can produce more meat.

Unhealthy chickens equals unhealthy eggs. And they do a study on that? I bet not !

  • @josephinemiller68 says:
    November 21, 2024 at 2:51 pm

I doubt it is the choline.
Unhealthy chickens. GMO grain fed eggs and chickens. These men with prostate cancer already have a bad diet.
Could it be estrogen or high omega six?Aren’t eggs full of estrogen?

Eggs are probably the healthiest thing you can eat on this earth.

Other foods I enjoy contain as much choline as eggs, such as tuna fish and sardines.
1 cup, pecans has 44mg of choline,1 cup of pistachios contains 88mg of choline
chicken and turkey are a good source of choline, with both providing 72 mg per 3-ounce (85-gram) serving

What you say don't have any sense

  • @spektred says:
    November 21, 2024 at 2:51 pm

I have two things to say about this.
    1) The liver produces some choline but most of it we get from food. Choline is a vital nutrient that helps your liver and brain to function, and it's also present in a number of vegetables as well. So I don't think choline itself is the cause of prostate cancer, possibly the growth hormones in the egg are doing that.
    2) One half cup of chopped broccoli= 31mg of choline. One hard boiled egg=147mg of choline. So there is a difference. If you are waking up and eating 2/3 eggs every day, it might be getting way more choline than you need. But I think one or two eggs a week won't hurt you, especially if you are already eating a vegan/plant based diet.

it's by stealing bird's eggs our ancestor survive and they did it for hundred of thousand of years

  • @mikelincoln8395 says:
    November 21, 2024 at 2:51 pm

A large serving of broccoli has nearly as much choline as an average size egg. If you cut out eggs and started increasing your broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, sprouts etc, you can expect to increase your choline intake by 30-40%.

Our results suggest that the postdiagnostic consumption of processed or unprocessed red meat, fish, or skinless poultry is not associated with prostate cancer recurrence or progression, whereas consumption of eggs and poultry with skin may increase the risk. from the same article
