At least you didn't get pregnant at 255lbs. That was mean.

I realize this was three years ago but thank you so much for posting this. I’m in my first tri right now and really struggling with food. All I can eat is carbs (breads and fruits). I really wanted to stay healthy and minimize the extra gain and it’s proving to be out of my control. I feel really down but have to remember it’s best for baby, I have the rest of my life to get back on track.

Jen I feel exactly the same way. I feel so bloated and look like I’m 5 months pregnant, it feels nice to know other people are feeling down about this too.

My feelings exactly as I’m at the end of my first trimester. So frustrating, but be happy about about baby right?!

I went from 315lbs to 201. And now I am pregnant. And no one understands why I am so bummed that they keep telling me that I only have to gain 15-25lbs… How am I gonna do that…!? The 110+lbs off weight loss I did was for nothing apparently during pregnancy. because I'm still considered "over weight" . But skinny women are allowed to gain 20-50lbs! I feel like all my hard work has been for nothing.

Thank you so much for sharing, you are beautiful and I'm going almost the same especially with the weight gain and cravings. I have gained so much just within my first trimester. Babies are a blessing so don't worry about the weight you will lose the weight.

OH Jenn I'm so happy for you! with my daughter I gained a lot of weight. With my son I didn't gain weight just 25pounds with no exercise. But I hear you that's tough when you had a hard time eating vegetables. Don't be hard on yourself and in no time you'll be able to give it 100%. You look absolutely beautiful❤️

Omg same thing happened to me, I couldnt and still can't sometimes eat veggies and whenever I eat a lot of whole plant food meals and smoothies I still get nauseous, and my baby is due next month! lol I've been eating carbs a lot too bc I don't feel sick from them.

I just found you on here. you are me for real! I lost 110 lbs naturally in 5 months kept it off for a year got Prego with twins and immediately gained 20 lbs then I couldn't get back to it and gained it all back. after the girls I lost 60 lbs but never got back to what I was it's so hard. It's been 4 years

So first, I lost a lot of weight too, and actually after losing 100 pounds am just to where you started, which can be overwhelming sometimes. I do struggle with our infertility treatments with having energy and motivation to eat right and exercise so thank you for this! It strangely was exactly the boost that I needed! My reason for doing this is so important and it's worth the work and sacrifices. 5 pounds is healthy to gain while pregnant so try not to beat yourself up. When things are more stable you will be right back into the swing of things, and having an exercise routine while pregnant makes labor, recovery, and losing the baby weight much easier, I hear. Hang in there, mama! And I've been looking at these brushes so thank you! Love how well it works!!

Don't worry about your weight. Enjoy being pregnant. Just eat healthy and walking if you can. You'll lose most of the weight when you have the baby and also if you are planning on breastfeeding that'll help too.

Hey Jen I'm so happy for you guys on your pregnancy !

I'm pregnant also and trying to keep my weight down, if you have a BMI over 30 it is only recommended you gain 6-11kgs so I'm aiming to gain 8kgs max, I'm 17 weeks pregnant now and haven't put on any weight (I know it is coming!!) I also haven't been really strict but trying to stay away from sugary drinks, bread, pasta, cereals- carbs in general . I believe this is what really packs on the extra kilos so I try to limit this to twice per week and I've been drinking lots of water about 3 litres a day. Just letting you know what works for me I hope maybe this will help you because I know you have worked so hard and like me don't want to feel bad about your body after becoming a mum. Really if you are already carrying extra weight you don't need to put on that much extra during pregnancy I think people just get carried away. I wish you all to success with maintaining your weight I really think cutting back on processed carbs will help immensely! Good luck xxx
