Can you talk about if your wife had her menstrual cycle fall off when she started plant based?
I have heard it’s common. And I don’t think it is something that people should be concerned about. I have found evidence in ancient writings that the essences who ate a plant based diet only had their menses once a year. Sounds like a gift from God. And they were fertile. Any wisdom to opine in this regard?

My son has the worst acne. I just went plant based because God told me to. I can see now that his acne is from dairy and hormone imbalance. He despises all fruit. He hates the texture. Won’t touch a berry, dried fruit or anything. Occasionally he will eat some melon. He likes coconut water. But otherwise it is so hard because I can’t make an apple or berry muffin or any such granola with dried fruit or anything.
Getting him to join me is going to be so hard. Just because of the fruit issue. I’ve never known anyone that hates fruit. He’s been this way for years and is 15.

Thank you for making this video! It’s very much appreciated! If I could only recommend just one page to watch on YouTube, it would be EatMoveRest. I’ve been following you guys from the beginning, my daughter turned me onto you guys because she was Vegan. And we both continue to watch both of you because you have so much information to share about things that you’ve actually already tried. If people are just sick and tired of being sick and tired, they should subscribe to your page and really listen to the things that you guys talk about. I know that you both have really tried everything by the time that you have posted it. I have a lot of trust in your (both you and Erin) recommendations.

We went to a Labor Day party yesterday and the other guest commented numerous times about the “real, healthy food” our sweet boy was eating!!
    -berries
    -edamame
-hummus bread sprinkled with nutritional yeast
    -soy milk

I’m curious what recommendations you have for someone (vegan 8 years) with a husband who lives off of cheap ramen, bready foods, sauce, cheese, and occasionally chicken. He occasionally eats lettuce, salsa, broccoli and bananas but that’s literally it. The man is pretty decently fit compared to most at 28. But I’m concerned about healthspan and lifespan to match. He’s a picky eater and is so limited in diet and what he will try that I’m not really sure what to do. We’ve been eating separate meals since I went vegan (aside from making or ordering pizza every now and then, which for him has cheese and pepperoni. For me, veggies and vegan cheese)

One think I think is missing from Complement is choline. Every vegan and even vegetarian should be supplementing with choline!! Especially pregnant or nursing.

I belong to EMR's inner circle and I can say that it is some of the best money I have spent on my health and journey to wellness.  I am one of the older ones, 64, and did not join for a while as I felt they had more to offer women of childbearing years, but how wrong I have been.

I have followed them for years and watched them just for the sheer joy of it.  That joy came with inspiration, recipes and a peek into what I feel a healthy family would look like.  I am speaking of physical, emotional, and spiritual.  Life isn't perfect and they are transparent about it.

At my age, I am there for the hope they inspire in me, the encouragement from the amazing group of members they have cultivated over the years, and the practical things like the recipes and products I have tried just because I trust in their judgement.  I still check it all out and decide what is for me, but they would applaud that as they do not want 'sheeple' but to help people move into a life of lasting change.

Who cannot be inspired by a woman who in comparison to other women breezes through pregnancy, birth and postpartum bouncing back with astounding speed compared to any other pregnancy I have ever seen?

Dusty has been an example of what can be done when childhood illness throws you a curveball.  You cannot tell he ever had a weakness!

I know it seems like I am fan-girling all over EMR, but they are the real deal.  They are dedicated to all of us and run their online family (which is what we are to them and each other) with gratitude, integrity and love.  I cannot, absolutely cannot recommend them enough.. In fact, my husband needs his own membership.  He needs to hang with Dusty and hear it from someone who is living it!

Thank you, Dusty.  Great video.  You have become so natural at it and I love the father-daughter days you get to share with Liv.  Well done! See you Friday! 🙂

It's not sustainable for everyone but if it works for you definitely keep doing it. Also maybe post blood work so people can see what "plenty of protein " looks like for you and maybe some kidney and liver labs…so people can see how well it's worked for "you". I personally have done vegan and carnivore. My sweet spot is in the middle low carbs and sugar.

Love your family. I hope you are not getting anymore tattoos. They are finding it is causing lymphoma. They are finding tattoo dye in the lymph nodes when they biopsy them. Saying this out of love not hate.

I can attest that my husband is 58 and can’t believe how his body has reacted. He says he wakes every morning like he did when he was 18 (aroused). We have friends who talk about ED and take pills! No problems here.

This was awesome! I've been plant-based for my entire marriage. My husband finally went Vegetarian about 6 months ago and said it''s easier than he thought. He's hesitant to go Vegan, though. Hopefully soon!
