How does one smoke weed and not destroy their nutrition?
no, Hershell did not win congressional seat
I really love this show and always have it on in the house while I cook. Sadly I usually have to turn it off suddenly when there f words and I have small impressionable kids at home. I love this show but wish that one guy stop cursing so much. Just lowers the quality of the show for me. Sadly this kinda unprofessionalism is everywhere now. Too bad, the content is so good but I cannot recommend to my young nephew who is looking to listen to fitness topics.
I love those Bordeaux AJ7’s Adam had. Classics.
I totally agree with performance and nutrition. A good friend of mine would eat a pie smoke a single cigarette before a Rugby game. And yet he always was an outstanding performer. Even represented NZ.
Michael Jordan wore his North Carolina short under his bulls uniform. Won 6 titles. Lol.
Referring to the early part of the video and I do understand the context where behaviour is more so looked then genetics.
So ignore your body type or train with your genetics in mind?
The Olympics is a perfect example of when an individual works towards their strengths from a genetic perspective to illicit the maximum performance/results true? Eg. All weightlifters are not over a certain height and swimmers are all the same body type.
The latter part of the conversation is everyone is different and reacts different to eating a high protein meal verse a high carb meal. Common sense would be to work towards what works. Genetics/body type is the one thing you can't change but work with was what I got from the conversation. Thanks for the great content guys.
DK Metcalf was 1000% lying, 0% doubting this, don't know why it's such a big topic still…
Little late but the TN Titans had quite a few players who started eating a certain way (not sure if it was vegan or what) but they had a great year that year. Psychological factor is so real.
We need a Mind Pump/More Plates More Dates cross over episode.
It's so hard to drink good, unadulterated water. We use a filter but it's plastic and there's no telling what's bypassing it. 🙁
Yeah but tap water contains lead! So poison vs poison. I choose micro plastics
Do you have anything for people that work over nights and a lot of hours. Inconsistent schedule???
Your videos are like bodybuilding/nutritional porn…! Thanks my dudes
#MorePlatesMoreDates @moreplatesmoredates
He is not 260 pounds
Yes i agree but body type dose mater. Helps u know better how to workout for ur body and how ur body uses diferent mood and macros ive witnessed the diferance.
Can you do a video on how to make your chest muscular when you have gyno
I need this in my life!
You guys are great! I don’t have workout buddies and I lift at home alone. Your podcasts give me great info and it’s like listening to the gym bros. Thank you!
If average or less in genetics , don't workout hard like Arnie did which is overtraining 2 u!!!
Is the .5 to 1g protein per lb body weight meant to be targeting where you want to be, or where you’re at? For example if I am 200lbs and want to be 210 should I be shooting for 210g? Same if I want to be 190 etc. always been an unclear part to this whole equation
Jordan 4s are fire
Here after half year! great new editing. good episode, keep up the grinding bois!! btw gainz o clock if i win
Best podcast
Bring Derek on the show great ped talk
Always great to hear knowledgeable discussion. My question would be, is it better to drink a protein shake after a late workout (like 1030pm) if I'm going to bed at 11:30ish? Or would it be better to make sure I have adequate protein throughout the day and not worry about a post lift meal/drink?
Love how much the show has evolved, keep up the great work!
Jordan 5 metallic is the one you were thinking of!
Love the content and the discounts. Lean is the name of the game and its working!
More than just workout advice, I think your true value is in providing a model of what it means to support your male friends, creating an environment where men can discuss topics that affect them, and this is amazing.
I learn so much from you guys. How do I submit a QUAH?
If I am using a calisthenics style program at home, what are the best exercises can I use to mimic or replace the big 7 compound lifts you guys suggest to be practiced in the gym with weights? Pull up, push up, dips, body weight rows, and body weight squat variations are obvious. What could a guy utilize to gain similar benefits of a dead lift without having access to all of the equipment required to practice the dead lift?
My absolute favorite podcast. Thank you for freely offering top notch education on health and fitness to all of us. You are my tried and true, trustworthy resource any time I want to learn more about to something in this industry.
What I love about this episode is its the same message I keep trying to explain to people….everything is highly individualized.
We all have advantages and disadvantages with movements, body size, how we react to foods etc…
The best thing you can do is be open to trying things, and experiment. Figure out what works best for you and stick to it.
When I used to eat meat and junk and just unhealthy I could stay up late, get up early head to outdoor music festival and be out in the July heat in Texas all day long and be fine! First year I went vegetarian and started eating better, went to an outdoor show and I had to leave around 5pm because I got heat exhaustion so bad, I had a migraine and nausea. I could not believe it, you would think my body would have been able to handle it better but nope! I think it had to do with not eating enough calories, crazy!
It’s Mind Pump time!
