I have a question I was doing some research on Venison. And salmon. Venison has less calories and fat. Then salmon is venison a healthier option or salmon

Lean meat with carbs for energy is the exact opposite of the ideal diet.Venison is great but needs to be paired with added healthy fats.

I think wild animals are probably the healthiest meat simply because they haven't been vaccinated and are without medication… even cows on farms and grass fed are being vaccinated with who knows what and that makes me super concern to eat such meat 🙂

Yay I made venison burgers and they baked with garlic and herb and garlic powder. They did not make tons of grease fats. We loved them I wish I could get them in one pound packs instead of five pounds in one package so I have to use it all in one to two days and it was so fun shopping this morning. I made a huge purchase for stew and crock pots and chilli and all the super things I like making. I don't know I'm super interested in raw meats but for now it's all hot plates to make and thank you for the gifts of bison we love it and it's user friendly organized and easy so I've never received any meat thawed or anything it's been perfect for every single order and thanks. I got everything for us and to share with my family outside of the house and send to them

The important thing about Venison is to add ingredients to neutralize the wild game taste IE.. white/red wines, worchestershire sauce, lots of spices & onions. One of my favorites is Hunter's casserole, you can not tell it is venison, because it tastes like beef. Most of our ancestors consumed venison on a regular basis. Back during a time when doctors where very scarce & we had no antibiotics or other treatments, our people lived off the land. Yet, people worked hard every day, just to survive, ate only when hungry, & had to take only what the land offered. Don't believe we had the horrible number of type 2 diabetes, cancers, & all the immune comprised diseases. My Dr told me that it's extremely important to have zinc, B,C, & D complexes of vitamins & minerals to help your immune system fight off Covid. Please don't think I'm endorsing Venison as a cure for Covid? I'm just saying that people today eat way too much heavy processed foods. We should take a leaf out of our Ancestors book. Public records state that many of mine lived to be over 80. My people were Scot Irish, they moved to The Carolina backwoods & still live in The Appalachian Mountains, where deer/turkey/pheasant/rabbit/squirrel/geese/duck/fish are all very plentiful

it's high quality, and cheap in some places. most of your cost is time, it connects you to the ecosystem in a very profound and bittersweet way

My parents have a friend who loves to hunt but his wife refuses to cook it or have it in the house due to trauma from childhood. They give my parents the deer they hunt. It only costs them $100 to have processed. Well worth it! When I was younger, I helped my dad process it in the garage. His knees are too bad for that these days, but I would love to do it again as I feel very strongly about the benefits of eating wild game for many reasons.

Venison in Michigan is cheaper than beef because of the convenience. Tastes delicious too

You should cover grass fed lamb it’s the only red meat with omega 3 fatty acid and other fatty acids. High in carnitine, and have as much as unsaturated fats as olive oil

Thanks for this video, Frank. I live in Finland and a friend just told me about a place here to order venison. You can order either half a deer or a whole deer, professionally butchered, and delivered in a cold vehicle to your door. I'm going to start by ordering half a deer and try it! (And btw, I'm doing strict carnivore for the month of January… maybe longer.)
