Great set-up. Thanks for laying everything out and explaining how you store it, how often you plan on eating things. Wouldn't you need more than one bottle of Tailwind for the entire race? If so, are there some zip lock backs of Tailwind powder we're not seeing?
Excellent recap video, IMHO you’ve overdone it with the nutrition. If you study any of top elite, Walmsley, Frericks, Killian etc there is no chance they are carrying even half as much on longer distances with less aid stations, Hardrock, Eiger.. light = fast
I think nutrition is the hardest part of running. We have Honey Stingers here in Kansas City…you should come run here.

Love the set-up! I'm glad you basically have everything with you (no messing with a drop bag unless something is really wrong) and that you went to a bigger hand-held to free up one hand. You're going to feel so fast without a pack! I tried baby food on this weekend's run at pace and nearly gagged it back. It's kind of a lot of volume for what was a surprisingly low amount of calories (60 in the one I had – do you usually get ones with more??). The "eating contest" line always makes me laugh… not to dismiss nutrition – it derails people of all abilities. But the winners, especially at a race like Sonoma, are supremely talented and hard working runners!!
