Wow, really interesting…here in my country, we call it "fever grass."
I've been making ginger and lemongrass tea everyday for a while, mostly to help with my gut/tummy and heart rate – I brew the ginger and lemongrass for about 15mins on the hob, then pour into a mug, add half a lime and some honey (pouring the rest into a thermos for later)… didn't realise you could cut the lemongrass up like that, I normally bash it quickly to break the inside up a bit, remove the outer layer and chop in half.
Love your videos! Would love to see some guides on how to brew different teas, no idea if what I am doing is 'right' or not, but it is tasty and I don't seem to get as ill as much as I used to and my gut is a lot better, and I measure a reduction in heart rate.
