Yes, if you have been diagnosed with Histamine and _MCAS_, it can make your menopause symptoms worse. If you pull up the symptoms of histamine intolerance and menopause, they are identical. This is because, during menopause, our immune system triggers the release of Histamine, and if we already have an underlying and undiagnosed histamine overload or *mast cell activation syndrome*. Trust and believe your Menopause symptoms will be much worse! And no, the solution isn't always to increase your dosage of HRT! Thank you to Dr. Tina Peers for this fascinating discussion.

Remember, if you want to detox Histamine, reverse your histamine overload, and repair your leaky gut, check out Toxaprevent*—*The World's Best Histamine Binder Using Science-Backed Zeolite Clinoptilolite.

Also I know Tina says it’s not a quick process but I’m curious about a ball park estimate of recovery time assuming all other factors are being addressed simultaneously?

Please create a list of fundamental steps to take with Mcas & menopausal symptoms. I’ve been working with functional meds for 2 years now which has been incredible but I’m wondering specifically for Mcas what essentials should be in place. I didn’t realize my night sweats could also come from histamine. Anyways any Mcas data I get I try to communicate with my Dr to keep us both learning and figuring out how to manage me. I have CFS, MCAS, Gut is in recovery and metabolic syndrome that is doing much better these days but I walk on egg shells still!

Dr Tina is one of the amazing gifts God have the world. What an incredible difference you guys are making. I found out I have MCAS this year. A reaction during an infection die off sent me to the ER. I didn’t know what was happening. I was laying in bed 10 minutes shaking uncontrollably… swinging hot/cold, neuropathy, full on panic attacks etc. It was an actual living nightmare. I’m sure it was a shock of some kind. When I went low histamine my pain left %85. I had bad arthritis/fibro I couldn’t even stand in my kitchen long. I’m only 29! My son is 5 and I see he has it. I’d love to learn resources for children. I don’t want him to go through what I have.

They're actually not prescribing the right HRT. And numbers are down. The birth control is far worse the body identical hormones transdermal etc. And the thyroid needs to be looked at to. As well as the gut and gut microbiome.

Thankyou all so much. I am now a subscriber.
10 years postmenopausal. GP more or less ignored my request for HRT back then, and now it's too late due to my age and possible side effects.
Could you please advise on alternatives to HRT please?

Was looking forward to this interview. There were some highlights in the beginning ad very end, but I feel like it was a waist of her time. If I could give you constructive criticism. Have a plan and stick to it also list of questions. Otherwise most of the time it was jus Tina talking about herself, and hosts talking about themselves, how they met etc.
Also fasting for women is not good, Dr. Stacy Sims explains it why.

I understand that exercising fasted will make your hypothalamus react such that it triggers pulling energy from muscles instead of fat stores. Is this accurate?

Very good interview, pretty unhelpful title, especially since that isn't really what she says.

Im a scientist from Australia living with Histamine intolerance and just loved loved loved this episode. I think ive fallen in love with Tina in an instant – she gets it, and has pieced it all together with medicine, evidence, eloquence and a beautiful smile! So many helpful tips. Try getting help for MCAS from NHS. There are no NICE guidelines or NHS treatment guidelines and immunology depts refuse referrals!

Hi my name is Renée ,i live in Ireland I love listening to your interviews with Dr Tina Peers ,she gives me so much hope ,I would really love to attend her clinic ,I was so disappointed to hear that she can’t see people from outside the UK
    I’m desperate for help
I can only eat certain foods I can’t take supplements or medication for my low thyroid ,I also have osteoporosis and can’t take vitamin D or calcium or other minerals I try to introduce slowly but can’t seem to work yet for me I’m using H2 blocker and I’m on low histamine foods
My tongue is always swelling and burning plus a lot more symptoms
Could you tell me the names of the Mast cell Stabilisers to give to my GP she may give me one to try
I’m on HRT but not sure if dosing is right
But Thankyou a very positive interview full of fantastic information
    Regards Renée

Hi, loved the interview with Dr Tina Peers, absolutely fascinating. I think my mum has undiagnosed MCAS, she’s in her 70’s and quality of life is poor due to symptoms. She also finds change very difficult. Could I suggest to her to try H1 & H2 antihistamines together for some quick relief? Thank you.
