I wonder if there's any cross over between BIID sufferers that "experience" themselves as disabled in some way, with the need to have amputations in order to be their "true self" and the types of dysphoria/dysmorphia that Trans people speak of – when not associating with their own body?

Congratulations dr. Vaknin for telling it as it is, in a world where perversion is becoming a pseudo-moral standard. A question: can one experience own body as alien, temporalily, out of extreme fatigue? It may have to do with the decline of sensory sensitivity due to that.
Addiction is a (one of many) normal response to trauma or stress imo.
