Doggy TV! That is SO precious!
You look like a wet mama chick lol
While it hot too Ann you can take some corn mix in water and freeze it and let them peck at the cool ice
Awesome video …and Ann I found the slow down speed button…so hopefully my next one will be better..yours are awesome and love judy
They are so much fun to watch.
Wouldn't it be realy special is Jusy and those chick do that spcial bond thing where they become best friends. Bringing her toy over to them tells me she wants to share it with HER babies. Watch out Ann. You may have to take her babies in the house every night for her. Lol I absolutely love this video. Can't wait to see how they all grow up together.
When they get bigger I hope you fix them up with a chicken tractor to fertilize for next year's garden!
Mama hen Judy is just too cute!
Hi there!!…
Ah! They're bonding! Just look at Ms. Judy's right hind leg all "akimbo". It looks like the chick on the right took the tick away from the other chick who pecked it first.
Great video… I love how Judy is so intrigued with them.
I can wash my hair with an eyedropper
Judy reminds me of my cats watching birds through the window.. it keeps her entertained..
The chicks are growing so fast! Just a note…chickens have very, very few taste buds so are visual eaters rather than taste eaters like humans. And they don’t chew their food – it goes straight down. They don’t actually “love” anything they eat. That’s why you can feed them their nutritionally complete feed as “treats” and they will come running. You could try holding some feed in your hand and let them come to you to eat it as a way of bonding with them. Too many treats reduces the nutrition in their feed. Just a tip!
Judy is going to guard her chicks. I am pleased that she is enjoying them. There is nothing better than a rain shower for you I am sure you are enjoying the cool down and the rain. Your garden should explode!
Won’t it be so rewarding when you get your first egg. Chickens are so beneficial eating ticks and giving eggs. And fertilizing the ground.
Judy likes her new friends, how adorable , have fun with them
my heart just melts when judy's watching the chicks, Bless her ♥️ xxx
Before I got the chicken food, some people said they NEED the medicated stuff to keep them from getting sick if they eat their poop. Others said NO, don't give it to them. So I went with the non medicated like you. They were just fine and never ate their poop, either. I do put some apple cider vinegar in their water, though. I give them my scraps after juicing, but have to make sure there are no apple seeds in there. They're not supposed to have green beans either, forgot why. Oh, I got the laying hen stuff, but found out that it's supposed to be given to them sometime before they start laying eggs because it's got more calcium or something in it that can cause problems when they're young. So I got the regular chick food and saved that stuff for later (which they're getting now that they're getting closer to egg laying age).
That's good they're eating bugs at an early age. Mine didn't that young. Yes, she did drop the tick. Look closely and you'll see it dropped to the right, next to the spoon. Then the chick on the right picked it up and it went forward to the front left and the white(ish) chick got it.
That chick had me laughing when it was pecking your dog. Have a great day.
Chicks are looking great! I'm grateful for your rain. Have a good day.
They are doing great. Judy is like a small child watching cartoons LOL.
I just love the country life. Judy and the chicks are adorable ❤️
You got Patsy bc she needed your loving care.
