Don't even know why we still grow this. It's the one seed that's always left when we give a seed mix to our animals. Chooks won't even eat it if it's the only thing left.

I already ordered Sorghum flour from Amazon to try it in my new diet of NO lectins, thanks to the Dr. advise.
I understand sorghum and millet lack lectins… but aren’t they high in phytic acid?
I would suggest soaking and then cooking the grains to lessen the phytase. Or ferment the grains in kefir.
Dr. Gundry could become the George Washington Carver of sorghum by promoting the soil-management aspects of this crop.

It's full of carbs…
Sorghum is a grain but extremely low in protein. Not a protein powerhouse at all. Half a cup of raw sorghum has 10.2g of protein (you can check on many nutrition websites) and 69.2g of carbs, while half a cup of raw lentils has 23.6g of protein and 60.8g of carbs. Much better, ay?
Sorghum is not the new quinoa. It is consumed by several countries since thousands of years. Everything that is discovered in the US is already a thing in other parts of the world. Once the word spreads of due to the so called scientists and researchers, the marketers try to capitalize on the fad.
Its not good for people that take thyroxine tablets, dr gundry please try and think of other peoples health.
