Biased and sarcasm very revealing
Very negative agenda
Do the lungs ever clear it?
I think after this video, I will start oil pulling twice a day instead of one.
Very very disappointing video meant to scare people. So wrong period!
Fast forward to 2024, we know what's going on.
Wow, what a skewed, slanted argument with a healthy dose of fear and ignorance (or possibly a hidden agenda. And umm… sesame oil is what is generally used… dummy
Bs
lipoid pneumonia? What a load of crap … You must be funded by the medical industry / pharmaceutical cartels.. This is fear based propaganda to ensure life time subscribers – Sickness is big business
Vaseline is PETROLEUM based! It’s not good at all!!
Coconut oil however is good for you! Also works as a natural sunscreen and nutrient rich moisturizer to the skin!
I'm writing this testimony not only to express my appreciation but also to encourage others who may be going through bad breath. Dr. Emovon on YouTube. his patients and his profound knowledge of herbal remedies are truly remarkable. I want to share my story and inspire hope for those who might feel discouraged..
I brush my teeth with coconut oil instead of oil pulling and my teeth are fantastic, no gum bleeding and my gums are very tight around the teeth, they are very white, I think if you brush instead of pulling it stops the chance of it getting in to the lungs, I give them a good brush and then spit out and then brush them again to get the oil of my teeth xx
Sunflower oil is inflammatory, coconut oil is anti-inflammatory.
use coconut oil..and carry on pulling
He's lying? Read a study.
Literally? Figuratively.
Market? Vegetarian, doctor, dental, YouTube, some other market?
I need a more neutral party to do more reliable studies
Fear mongering. You completely skip the parts of these studies that tell, that these negative outcomes from oil in lungs go into remission with time.
This guy sounds like's he's got an agenda against natural treatments. You can tell by his voice. You cited 2 or 3 reports where a person died vs millions of people who get benefits from swishing around a bit of oil in the morning lol.
this video is so irrelevant
Sorry, Dr. Greger is FOS.
waste of time video
Really poorly written video. You don’t elaborate at all on how much of an increased risk of lipid pneumonia oil pulling is and basically make the argument of “look at these other things that say not to put oil in your body because they cause lipid pneumonia”
Like… we ingest oil every single day (most of us). Of course there’s some risk with it as there is risk with drinking water or walking down the street.
Unless something puts you at a significantly heightened risk over baseline (which you didn’t elaborate on) it’s of no actual concern.
I don’t do oil pulling. I don’t believe in it but your whole argument you’ve presented is just bullshit I’m sorry. Its literally the definition of a strawman. That’s what you’ve done is build a strawman to tear it down. You hardly even focused on the actual studies of oil pulling. You never cited any sources. You never went into detail.
This is a bit ridiculous. Saying there’s risk of aspiration from oil pulling is like saying there’s risk from eating a salad with olive oil.
You’re being a bit disingenuous here by not elaborating on how much of an increased risk it is.
This video brought to you from the ADA and Crest.
(Please don’t oil pull. It doesn’t work.)
After doing it for several days, I already notice my throat is less parched and I don't often sneeze or cough when dust bothers me. I hope this isn't just my imagination.
This is why you have to be very careful not to swallow any. I use gravity to keep myself from swallowing any by tilting my head down. Sometimes you might swallow a drop or so, but its as likely as going into your lungs as any other drink you have all the time. And don’t put it in your nose, lol. Honestly though, just be careful, and you should be fine.
This has to be the dumbest argument for something so beneficial. If that was the case wouldn't u have a high risk eating fatty foods anyway? I would also think you'd have to really be illiterate to be swallowing coconut oil.
He is lying
Any oil placed in dry sinuses is dangerous. Just use normal Sterimar Saline Spray, and spray that inside you’re nose, gently blowing one nostril at a time, while blocking the other with you’re thumb or finger. Using #buteyko breathing exercises, like, breath holds to open up you’re sinuses naturally. So you’re sinuses will drain properly, drinking plenty of water.
Be careful with new fads, like oil pulling with coconut oil, because it caused lipoid pneumonia for me, when some of the oil accidentally seeped into my lungs. And I’m a healthy individual who runs a lot and works out. It messed with my lungs for months.
This is such a cringeworthy video! Absolutely disgusting!
