Wouldn't you be killing the planet if you consume more than you can grow though? As for history they were always short supply of farming and people dying so imagine if everyone was to change? it would be insane, we couldn't keep up for the demand. Vegans need to understand even though I know what you mean as the predator animals will eat other animals and nature goes on how it should but at the same time if you release them all then it comes back to my exact point they would be more animals (prey) wondering around and predator animals chasing them down a lot more, as there's more of a food source for predators and it will more than likely be interfering with the roads and urban areas which will be dangerous for humans at the same time as it will interfere with drivers or even workers that work outside so it goes back to my point that they would have to create animal parks that would be more than likely fenced off, cause we wouldn't be able to control them all, they would affect human society if we didn't do that. Take chickens for instance, if you knew how many chickens they was and you let them all free then you will have thousands of foxes and other animals chasing hundreds of thousands of chickens around everywhere which isn't great and then you'll have sheep and cows blocking roads and stopping people from commuting which we already have going on right now in parts of the world and also animals would over populate the world if we couldn't get rid of some. Just wouldn't work.
