I think it depends on your goal. I went for a trial class and I loved it. I will join it, but my goal is not to lose weight or built muscle, my current goal is to get active, be healthier, work on my cardio because I cant run for the life of me, and have fun, feel inspired. The trainer at the location I went to looked the part, and I have a problem paying for a trainer that does not look fit themselves. She kept me going and that is what I need. I believe at some point this workout will no longer be sufficient for me but until then, I think its a great community to join. I recommend Orangetheory, but know you will only get what you put in like any other workouts
to bad. 100$ a month is way too expensive for me. cant afford that at all on minimum wage.

Wow i just started Orangetheory a few weeks ago and i love it the classes get my hype in the morning and i like that there’s someone coaching me while working out because i just don’t have the energy for working out sometimes
i go to orange theory its nice to have this journey with other people! i enjoy it but losing weight for me comes down to low carb diet and intermittent fasitng.

I love this gym, the results will depend on you, you also need a healthy diet, but in my case, this gym has helped me to have energy, resistance, motivation and perseverance, before I didn't have
Just joined orange theory today and I burned more calories in one session than I normally do the whole day.
I totally relate with how hard it is to keep smaller portions when you see how good you’re boyfriend is eating. My diet has gotten so bad! Starting OT tomorrow & working on eating better.

If you eat highly processed foods (carbs) and are eating 6 times a day (snacks + meals) working out will not help much with weight loss. Every time you eat you release insulin a (fat storage hormone).

orange theory motivates me because it’s kind of a big investment for me, i pay for 8 classes/month and that $100 hurts when it leaves my bank account so when i go, i go and make the best of it each time

Omg I am the exact same way. I’d feel like I could run longer but my shins would begin to feel so rock hard and were so painful.
I’m older than you and a dude. But otf for me had huge effects in the first 6 months. After that you might not see as much change, your splats go down as you get fitter. Makes sense, right? Your heart is getting more efficient. So what happens? Your bp goes down. Your resting hr goes down. You general healthy goes up. For me, it’s worth every penny. Not the only way to get/stay fit obviously, but it for sure works. I go 5 days a week and I love it

Ima try it to get in shape working out is literally only 20 percent of losing weight that's why you haven't seen the scale change. I lost 50 lbs on eating healthy alone without any exercise.
Is it actually good for muscle gain and toning? I feel like it’s so cardio based

I’ve been going to otf for now three weeks im loving it!!
This is a 1 hour complete Body workout. A heart rate based workout, Backed by Science, tracked by technology. guided by certified coaches to ensure that you do not over train, but by the same token that you do not under train. This work out, if followed and the work put in. Will cause what is known as the EPOC affect = Excess Post-exercise oxygen consumption. Meaning that your body will continue to burn fat and calories 24 to 36 hours after you have ended your workout. I have personally had massive results. From 288 to 243 in 90 days. to 220 lbs within 120 days, Like all things in life it takes commitment, effort, discipline, and most of all diet. I respectfully disagree with this video. If your looking for massive results in a short span of time. I recommend doing the work yourself. DO NOT just listen to this video and individual opinions. I love OrangeTheory as it keeps me motivated. However weight loss is not the goal but fitness is great. Weight loss is more about what you eat. However the workouts make me feel better. OTB board is helpful. I find it much better than other gym. I have tried Fitness First and Anytime fitness. But the fact that I don’t make to think is great.

I don’t know $140 a month for a work out you can do pretty much anywhere for less doesn’t seem logical.. I mean maybe go there for 4-5 times learn a few routines and just do it yourself afterwards elsewhere.. that’s just me once you know your body this whole “green red orange” becomes quite easy to figure out but hey some people need guidance especially beginners so it could be good for them I recommend it if it works but for an experienced guy I don’t see too much a benefit..
Switch to the Mediterranean way of eating. Super healthy.
Good for you! I started OT just before COVID struck. I started off with the once a week package, upped it to twice a week, and then I went unlimited. I just finished my first unlimited month going 3 times a week. I HATE exercise and sweating, so I absolutely did not think this would go well. This is why I started off with a class a week and worked my way up. I had to be sure I'd like it and more importantly, that I'd stick with it. I started my 2nd month of unlimited today, and my goal is to go 5x/week. I have officially become addicted. My only regret is that I hadn't heard of this place sooner.
I wish you luck with your diet. I was a lot like how you described yourself, but because of health issues, I had to do a complete dietary overhaul right about the time you uploaded this video. It's not easy at first, but you get the hang of it.

I love OTF. I was in the red and orange a lot and wasn't losing weight. So now I powerwalk on the treadmill and only run during push or all out. The coach told me the green is where you burn fat and you should be in the green a majority of the workout. Now, that im in the green more the weight is finally coming off.
love orange theory helped me become stronger. all studio workout are that price. you can buy a used one on ebay. or you do not even need them.
