I agree 100% with Dr Ed Gundry’s Advice. I take his vegan protein drink. Best protein powder I have ever taken. Increase energy and recovery and is is excellent for keeping my gut settled.

im 80 yrs old and have always had porridge oats for every morning with no ill effects. I cook it in salty water and have it either with a teaspoon of maple syrup or honey

I eat oatmeal and cake made from oat powder almost everyday and every doctor recommended to eat oatmeal for healthy foods even when you are on beds sick in the hospital they serve you morning with oatmeal… who are you gonna to believe???
It is depressing to find foods that I thought were healthy but don’t shoot the messenger. I’m a big fan of Dr Gundry and imo he knows what he’s talking about. I always cross reference any advice I read on the internet or see on YouTube as there are a lot of quacks out there. But Dr Gundry’s podcasts are always backed up by solid science.
When I eat oats, my stomach gets very distended. I like them but steer clear of them.

Dr. Gundry does have good points. Oats give me IBS, since I've gotten older. I like his protein shake powder. It doesn't give me IBS also I like his probiotic. No IBS symptoms! And his suggestion of pressure cooking beans actually is true! I usually get IBS symptoms from beans. I pressure cooked soaked beans and no IBS at all!
Oatmeal is a con. Those advocating for it are paid. It is toxic in its fiber and carb content. Awful for blood sugar and diabetes. Full of anti nutrient and often full of pesticides. Oatmeal = garbage
Dr. G. – why do you insist upon over-hyping concerns over the negative impact that lectins in oatmeal might have when you are fully aware that soaking oatmeal in water overnight in combination with cooking it basically nullifies any harm it might do to the gut lining?
Instead of going on and on about the danger of eating this very nutritious food why don’t you just let the public know about how to prepare it so they can enjoy its many benefits?

Gundry is down on oatmeal , really? We viewers need to demand that these so called doctors writing books and make podcasts to earn a living substantiate all their claims with: gold standard research methodologies i.e., randomized double blind placebo control (RDBPC) studies . They are considered the "gold standard" of epidemiologic studies and intervention-based studies. They are considered the most rigorous clinical research design because they minimize bias and standardize the placebo effect. If they can't provide them then we need to start demanding them and ignore their claims. Otherwise, it's just more noice in an already chaotic cacophony. of baloney. Stop buying their books!!!
Oats are good for you. It's the glyphosate contamination that's the problem. Buy organic oatmeal if you can!
