So after a year the heavy metals in the blood are eliminated?
Dr. Gundry has mentioned that we need 0.37 grams of protein per kilogram and states that is consistent with Prof. Valter Longo's recommendation. However, Prof. Valter Longo in his book states that it is 0.37 grams of protein per pound which would be double the amount of daily grams of protein
I missed a couple of your recommendations for heathy proteins but couldn’t rewind. What were the veggies other than cauliflower? Which seafood other than shrimp? I was able to pause but not rewind. And I missed the phone numbers we could use for questions and I assume orders.

Me land lord eats 2 pounds of meat, or more, in the afternoon and another 2 pounds or much much more at night time (12 AM or later and some times at 4 AM) – this keeps the house smell very bad all day long. What makes people eat that much of red meat and chicken 7 days a week non stop? Why would someone eat that much of meat?

I am always working towards better choices and want to incorporate this into my pet's food. I am wondering if the protein suggestion of 30 g a day of protein is sufficient for my dog's daily intake? I would love to give her chicken and turkey meat protein but also want to ensure she gets the nutrients and vitamins that come from vegetables. is it safe to substitute animal protein for other sources of protein (i grind her veggies and meat for easier absorption) such as vegetables? Protein intake dependant on how much physical exercise your strenously using, I had a job that was lifting heavy weights and a lot of cardio in it at the same time as I was walking with these heavy weights for hours a day 5 sometimes 6 days a week, my food intake from protein was pretty much my body weight 80kg, but I'm sure I was getting over 100g a day in the end I got big muscles but I lost them when I stopped working the job, my protein intake was the same, bottom line is I think it depends on your physical activity which determines how much protein you shoud eat but its such a large topic because you could have fat's and carb's which would be used as fuel before protein so If I wasn't exercising much then yeah 20-30g protein a day might be sufficient to hold onto muscle considering if I'm also eating fats and carbs which the body will use before it attacks the muscle as muscle is eaten last by the body and used for fuel last so muscle breakdown will only occur if I had no fat's or carbs in my body and proteins then muscle breakdown is the final end game.
I personally like to eat at least 50-80g protein per day even when I'm not training. When I do train I eat that 80g protein a day but also add amino supplements while I'm fasting in calorie deficit this will allow me to get the desired body I need.

I love drinking comfrey root powder mixed with water as comfrey has high calcium and protein. But does comfrey root contain lectin ?
this is why im fat, my sugar intake its negligible, i have greatly reduce it over the years, same goes for the sature fats, however i do eat meat, particulary red meat as often as possible so i guess i found the issue, now im not a weak guy by any means, my buddy says '' you got hands like a vise grip'', but i guess i need to reduce my protein intake which is the source of my fat

Dear Dr. Grundy, Dr. Adamo's book says that blood type B individuals cannot eat chicken because of a certain lectin in the muscle meat of chickens that lead to possible stroke, is this true?

Where is the link to the study that supposedly supports Gundry’s claim that we only need 20-30 grams of protein per day? Yes, 30g of protein can stimulate protein synthesis. But for how long? What data is there to support the claim that this one bolus of protein is optimal for health in general? It certainly isn’t optimal for building muscle.
Also, there seem to be many ethnic groups that consume meat containing neu 5gc, Yet they do not appear to have higher rates of cancer, for example, the Masai and the Hazda.
Eating well is really about Feeling Well because, no matter how perfect your diet, you will eventually age, like everyone else.

I keep waiting for the punch line. 'You can eat too much protein.' Why? Excess ends up as fat. Whether or not that's bad depends how much fat you have already. Isn't it all a little more nuanced than you would have us think? Is there no room in your world for perspective? Just how many of us are going to get cancer from eating red meat? More to the point, how many of us are going to avoid cancer by not? Does panic help sell your books?
Sorry if I appear to be in an argumentative mood today, but you say, 'There is pretty good evidence that that there is no evidence that too much protein does not destroy your kidneys, although quite frankly when I have people with chronic renal failure the two things I really restrict is proteins and carbohydrates…' Why stop there? There's pretty good evidence that playing the violin doesn't destroy your kidneys. Do you restrict that too?
Regarding the consumption of protein, 28 grams is only 1oz so 30 grams is a very little.it’S usually 4oz that’s classed as a normal portion for a Diet in the U.K.
He's talking about 1 ounce of protein a day. That strikes me as insanely low. That's 1/8 of a small steak.

I have never drunk enough water and when I fast, my body has become even more acidic. As a result, I now have gout attacks on my fingers. I started drinking a lot of water and now I feel much healthier.
Hi Dr. Gundry-I’m a doctor and blogger with a strong focus on Nutrition and I appreciate the information you are putting out to the public on Utube and in your books. I recently listened to Max Lugavere’s podcast, The Genius Life, and compared his guest Gabrielle Lyon – an expert on protein and muscle – with some of the information you discussed in your podcast on protein. There are a few things, such as quantity of daily protein, you differ with and I thought it might be interesting for you to have her on as a guest. It would be a great conversation since most of us would benefit from hearing about the importance of protein and the best sources for omnivores, vegans and vegetarians. Many of us know about osteopenia, the loss of bone, but few of us focus on sarcopenia, the inevitable loss of muscle as we age. Thanks again for the interesting interviews and conversations.

I googled neu5GC, Compared to skeletal muscle, the concentrations of Neu5Gc were high in all organs, particularly heart, spleen, kidney and lungs. I don't eat pig organs!
